Youth Club – Plans for the future

Over the past few months we have been working with AtkinsRéalis who as part of their social value have been supporting us to access a range of advisors who have completed reports for us about our building.

This has included structural engineers HOP Consulting reviewing the replacement of a beam for the annexe, a topographical survey by 1st Horizon, asbestos survey by Perry Analytical, cost estimates and planned preventative maintenance by inhouse staff from AtkinsRéalis. This has led to commissioning work with Rishman Construction to repair the roof and beam for the annexe alongside other work as funds allow.

With the support of funds from local councils and grant funders we have ambitious plans to make sure 39 Youth Club continues to provide support for young people including a refurbished annexe, training kitchen and MUGA. The plans from AtkinsRéalis can be seen here:
